The Mobile Optimist Club Scholarship (worth $2,000)


·      18 or higher on the ACT


·      3.0 GPA or higher


·      Community Service/ Service Clubs/ Projects on or off campus



Cody Rubenstein Memorial Scholarship 

A $1,000 scholarship is available for those seniors who plan on majoring in education. The scholarship is in memory of Dr. Howard and Tammy Rubenstein’s son, Cody, who died tragically on November 4, 2012. Cody was Saraland High School’s first student teacher. Cody loved children and was looking forward to starting his career as a teacher.

Alabama Agribusiness Council Foundation Scholarship- major in an agriculture related field at a 4 year university in Alabama, 3.0 GPA or higher, and must be a resident of Alabama.


Logan’s Law Scholarship 


Logan’s Law Scholarship was started 2 years ago in memory of Logan Farnell.


He was working on an Anti-Bullying program known as “Differences are what makes you, you”.


In 500 words or less, describe the importance of being different. Essay should be typed and returned to Mrs. Graham by Friday, April 6th.



Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund (JMSMSF)


Criteria Sheet



  1. US Citizen or permanent resident of US



  1. GPA of 3.0/equivalent or higher (out of a 4.0 scale)



  1. High School Senior who will matriculate full-time at a US accredited four-year college or university within the fifty states or District of Columbia.



  1. Have demonstrated leadership abilities through participating in community services or other extracurricular activities.



  1. Combined adjusted income of the parent(s) cannot exceed $50,000




West Rotary Club Scholarship- accepted as an incoming freshman at the University of South Alabama, University of Mobile, or Springhill College, leadership potential and extracurricular involvement


The Young Woman Community Leadership Scholarship- female seniors who have a commitment to volunteerism and improving their community

Alabama Center for Architecture- major in architecture, completed FAFSA
Public School Transportation Employee- parents must be an active employee in a public school transportation department (bus driver, aides, monitors, mechanics, parts clerks, foremen, trainer, manager, supervisor, director and/or inspector) for the past 3 years
Community Service and Arts Scholarship- must be attending college in the fall of 2018, community service, and have an “Arts” talent such as dance, instrumental, drama, vocal, visual arts or graphic arts
